Presented poster is focused in methods for the creating of maps for the Atlas of International Relation which were generated through XML (eXtensible Markup Language). Our poster shows maps of the atlas, used methods of cartographical interpretation (cartograms, cartodiagrams, colour scales etc.) and characteristics of chosen map projections (Times projection, stereographic projection). The second part of this poster contains a schema of parts of the generating map system by using XML technologies (in the concrete JUMP markup language, Scalable Vector Graphics and eXtensible Stylesheet Language Transformation).
