The main objective was to analyse land cover changes in relation to rainfall-runoff processes in a landscape. Multitemporal satellite imageries were used for the purpose (LANDSAT, SPOT). There were 4 main land-cover classes, which were observed: Urbanization, Agricultural areas, Forest and seminatural areas, and Water bodies. Special attention was paid to vegetation density and wetness using vegetation indices. Reflectance value differences in red and near infrared intervals were monitored.
