Register an oral presentation
Extended abstracts are being submitted for the conference. Please read and follow the below given instructions for extended abstract preparation and submission. Extended abstracts will be reviewed by members of the conference scientific committee and after the conference realization published in electronic proceedings at the conference webpage.
All extended abstracts published in the conference proceedings will obtain their own DOI (Digital Object Identifier). DOI enables papers to be cited properly and also increase the visibility of the published work. A registration in the Crossref database allows to use Crossref/Similarity Check services to prevent scholarly and professional plagiarism.
A special issue in the journal Geoscape (https://sciendo.com/journal/GEOSC) was established for the GIS Ostrava 2022 conference to publish full papers based on the accepted extended abstracts. As the special issue capacity is limited to eight papers, they will be selected by the scientific committee. Full papers sent to the special issue will undergo a standard submission process of the journal Geoscape. Deadline for sending full papers to the special issue will be in June, 2022 and the issue will be published in December, 2022. Guest editors of the special issue are members of the conference scientific committee.
Moreover, full papers based on the accepted extended abstracts can be also submitted to the GeoScience Engineering journal, http://gse.vsb.cz/ojs/index.php/GSE, open access, free of charge.

Instructions for oral presentation preparation
Your presentation should last 15 minutes + 5 minutes for a following discussion. PDF format is preferred. Please, send your presentation at least a day before the conference start to michal.kacmarik@vsb.cz.
