At its core, openBIM is a collaborative process that is vendor-neutral. openBIM processes can be defined as sharable project information that supports seamless collaboration for all project participants. openBIM facilitates interoperability to benefit projects and assets throughout their lifecycle. buildingSMART is the worldwide industry body driving the digital transformation of the built asset industry. buildingSMART is committed to delivering improvement by the creation and adoption of open, international standards and solutions for infrastructure and buildings. buildingSMART is the community for visionaries working to transform the design, construction, operation and maintenance of built assets. buildingSMART is an open, neutral and international not-for-profit organization.
Abstrakt (CZ)openBIM rozšiřuje výhody BIM (Building Information Modeling) zlepšením dostupnosti, použitelnosti, správy a udržitelnosti digitálních dat ve stavebnictví. OpenBIM je ve svém jádru proces založený na spolupráci, který je neutrální vůči dodavatelům. OpenBIM procesy lze definovat jako sdílené projektové informace, které podporují bezproblémovou spolupráci pro všechny účastníky projektu. openBIM usnadňuje interoperabilitu, která přináší výhody pro projekty a stavby po celou dobu jejich životního cyklu. buildingSMART je celosvětový průmyslový orgán, který řídí digitální transformaci stavebnictví. buildingSMART se zavazuje poskytovat zlepšení vytvářením a přijímáním otevřených mezinárodních standardů a řešení pro infrastrukturu a budovy. buildingSMART je komunita pro vizionáře pracující na transformaci projektování, výstavby, provozu a údržby staveb. buildingSMART je otevřená, neutrální a mezinárodní nezisková organizace.
