Extended abstracts are being submitted for the conference. Please read and follow the below given instructions for extended abstract preparation and submission. Extended abstracts will be reviewed by members of the conference scientific committee and after the conference realization published in an electronic proceedings at the conference webpage.
The authors of accepted extended abstracts are encouraged to submit their full paper to the conference Special issue UAV in Smart City and Smart Region in the ISPRS International Journal of Geo-Information, where it will undergo a standard MDPI submission process. Guest editors of the special issue are members of the conference scientific committee. It is planned to provide an URL link from your extended abstract in the proceedings to your relevant published paper in the ISPRS International Journal of Geo-Information.
Other options are to publish the full paper in the conference proceedings with ISBN and DOI or in the GeoScience Engineering journal (open peer-reviewed journal, free of charge, http://gse.vsb.cz/ojs/index.php/GSE).
All papers (extended abstracts) published in the conference proceedings may obtain their own DOI (Digital Object Identifier). DOI enables papers to be cited properly and also increase the visibility of the published work. A registration in the Crossref database allows to use Crossref/Similarity Check services to prevent scholarly and professional plagiarism. Every interested author have to ask for DOI for his/her paper during submission of its final version for the conference proceedings.
The length of the extended abstract should not exceed 1200 words and number of graphical elements (figures, graphs, maps, etc.) needs to be kept on a relevant level. The document must be formatted in a below given template and uploaded as an pdf file of maximum size 10 MB.

You are encouraged to read the ethical standards.
Your presentation should take 15 minutes + 5 minutes for following discussion. A data projector and PC with MS Office (ppt or pptx) and Adobe Acrobat Reader will be available. A preferred aspect ratio is 4:3. Using your own laptop is permitted only in special cases. If you need to use your own laptop, please inform us at gisostrava@vsb.cz.
Upload your presentation at the registration desk no later than during the coffee break before your paper will be presented. Use a USB Flash disk or cloud storage to provide your file. Wi-Fi internet connection will be available at all times and in the conference rooms.
Locations will be available for posters up to size A0. You may choose any available location upon arrival. Locations will be numbered for use in the poster competition (voted by participants and programme committee members).
