We are proud and happy to announce you, that the proceedings of GIS Ostrava 2014 have been published by Springer as a part of Lecture Notes in Geoinformation and Cartography that are currently indexed in SCOPUS!

Papers

Registration of a paper is closed

Researchers are encouraged to present results of their work in the specified topics.

For paper submission, please, complete the Registration Form.

Deadline for the full paper submission is 1st of December, 2014.

All submissions will be double blind peer reviewed by three members of the scientific committee or by external experts. The printed proceedings will be issued after the symposium. Papers are going to be published by Springer in the Lecture Notes in Geoinformation and Cartography Series.

Authors are recommended to see our review form to understand reviewing process and to discover possible sources of objections and comments to the paper.

Oral presentation

Your presentation should take 15 minutes without discussion. There will be available data projector and PC with MS Office 2010 and Adobe Acrobat Reader. There will be available laser pointer.

Your presentation is going to be recorded on video.

If you need to use your own notebook, please inform us at gisostrava@vsb.cz. To use your own notebook is permitted only in a special cases, we prefer to present your paper only with presentation in PPT (PPTX) or PDF format on the prepared PC.

Upload your presentation at the registration desk not later than on the beginning of the break before the section where the paper is going to be presented. There will not be CD-ROM, so use USB Flash disk to bring your file(s), please.

Poster presentation

There are available boards size A0. You can choose any of them. The boards are with numbers, that will be used for poster compettion (voted by participants and by programme committee members).
